Knights of Windsor Sword

In full dress and undress, the Military Knights wear their own specific pattern of sword. The hilt is cruciform in design and cast in one piece with the cross guard with its trefoil finials. The grip is slab sided and the whole hilt is drilled and threaded so that the tang of the blade may be screwed into it. The sword is carried from a cross belt in a black leather scabbard with mouthpiece and chape, the former having a stud for fitting to the cross belt.
