When an order is placed, we carefully choose a blade pattern to match the specific sword type. We then design a personalised piece for the customer, incorporating elements such as a family crest, coat of arms, regimental crest, spine inscription, and personal inscription.
Each sword is meticulously handcrafted, and the design and etching process follows traditional methods. Initially, designs are created digitally on a graphics tablet. Once approved by the customer, the design is transformed into a silk screen. This screen is then used to transfer the images onto the highly polished blade.
An acid-resistant ink is applied to the blade, and the background is carefully etched away by hand.
Costs can be provided upon request.
